Argentine superstar Lionel Messi has revealed that Yamal still follows his former team Barcelona and is hopeful of success for the Blaugrana.
Inter Miami legend Lionel Messi has revealed during an Adidas event that he still follows Barcelona and is hoping for success this season, while also seeing 17-year-old starlet Lamine Yamal as having a big future at the club, Mundo Deportivo reported on Friday.
Messi left the club in the summer of 2021, moving to Paris Saint-Germain and has been with Inter Miami ever since, and the 37-year-old has remained a constant fixture at his former club, particularly this season under Hansi Flick.
‘I would like to see Barcelona win La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League, and in recent years that has been impossible, but at least compete until the end,’ Messi said.
The Argentine forward also heaped praise on Barcelona’s highly-rated youngster Yamal, saying: ‘There is a generation of young players who have many years to come. If I have to go with someone, because of their age and their future, I heard they went with Lamine Yamal.’
‘And of course ทางเข้า ufabet for me, I agree. It depends on him and many things because that’s football. But it’s the present and there’s no doubt it has a great future.’
